Due to recent storm damage no fall plants will be shipped. We will resume shipping in the spring of 2013. Welcome to Double R Farm! We are a small family run farm located in Sugarcreek, Ohio in the heart of Amish Country. We are transplants from New England and moved to the farm to give our children a slower pace, and a place where they could grow closer to nature.We started farming naturally as a way to ensure that our family, especially our children had access to naturally grown food. We use no synthetic fertilizers,or pesticides, and use only natural growing methods. We also use companion planting and beneficial insects for pest control. ABOUT OUR PLANTS/SEEDS: We grown all of our own plants,and harvest all of our seeds in the fall. The plants are all naturally grown, with no chemical additives.We hand plant, grow, and harvest all of our plants and seeds. We like to keep it simple, even if it takes a little longer than the mass produced items you can buy at the department store.The quality is far superior, and fresher.
