Planet Goat

At our small farm, we are all about goats. We have other livestock we raise sustainably and humanely, and some are downright spoiled, although all are gentle. We sell pasture raised turkeys, and hand-raised, lovingly handled pigs, both live and as a meat product. However, our goats are never slaughtered. Instead, they produce milk, cheese, and take kids and grown-ups on hikes (the majority of our goats are trained as pack goats for trips to the nearby Deseret Peak Wilderness). We now have Chevre, Feta, goat milk soap, whey based beauty products and. Vegetable offerings are organically grown tomatoes, available through November. We currently have pastured pork cuts from a Berkshire/Large Black breed boar. Ground pork is $3.50 and roasts are $4.00. Farm visits for families with children 10 and older are available for a fee. Childrens birthday parties are offered summer and fall (please see website). Overnight farm stays that include goat packing trips are also available, with lodging, breakfast, lunch, dinner and day pack trip included in the price of the stay ($170 double room adult occupancy, $75 per children 12-17, limit 2 children).
