PTB Farm is a diversified farm in Rockingham County. We are dedicated to building living soil and growing healthy food for the Piedmont Triad. We are young, second-generation farmers preserving family farmland in an area that is under heavy development pressure. We grow beyond-organic vegetables and highest-quality meat from free-range animals born and raised on pasture and forest land. All our meat production is certified Animal Welfare Approved.
We grow by ecological standards to produce the highest quality vegetables, cut flowers, fruits, pork, beef, and lamb. You can find us at the Greensboro Curb Farmers Market on Saturdays year-round, and at the Old Salem Cobblestone Farmers Market on Saturday mornings April-November. The PTB Farm Coop is a flexible CSA for the Piedmont Triad. It is designed as a Cooperative, and it works like a farm credit that provides a discount. Our Coop is a great way to support your farmers by paying up front for your vegetables, meat, mushrooms, and flowers. This helps pay for seeds, feed, fuel, and marketing costs when farm income is at its yearly low. Essentially, you are purchasing a farm credit early in the year. Then, you can simply visit our stands at the farmers markets!
