Transplanting Traditions Community Farm

The Transplanting Traditions Community Farm is a vocational agricultural program that works to build economically viable and ecologically sustainable business opportunities for refugees in N.C. On our 8 acre farm, we train refugee families originally from Burma in sustainable agriculture methods. The goal of the project is to prepare refugees to become successful market farmers thereby creating a viable and culturally appropriate business opportunity for the refugee community.

When you become a CSA member, you are directly supporting an aspiring refugee farmer and his/her family. In exchange for this support, you will get a weekly share of the best produce our farm has to offer.
