Sharon Sprouts Farmers' Markets are back for the new school year! They will be on the third Saturday of each month from 10am-1pm (except for no markets in December, January, and April). Local farmers and families will gather at the Sharon Elementary School to offer fresh vegetables, meat, poultry, eggs, bread, pies, quiche, and Greek specialties, along with canned, dried or frozen offerings. The markets will be combined with special, community celebrations and also offer local, handmade crafts. Local lunch always served 11:30-1.
September 21: Sprouty 5/10K; October 19: Tailgate Cook-off: November 16: Holiday Craft Fair 9-2; February 15: Winter Fest; March 15: Chili-Cook-off; May 17: Garden Work Day.

Sharon Sprouts is the Farm, Food and Nutrition Education Program at Sharon Elementary, keeping farm-to-school efforts strong with fresh and local food in the lunch program and providing local food classroom and on-farm lessons to all grades.
