Solace Grove Farm LLC

Solace Grove Farm is a small scale, all-natural farm located on the base of the Continental Divide just outside of Helena, Montana. We raise Icelandic sheep for their multi-colored fleeces, gourmet quality meat, and delicious milk, as well as heritage breed chickens. We are also pleased to announce that we will be offering CSA shares for the coming 2013 spring/summer season. Our family is comitted to using a holistic approach with everything on our farm, and while we are not organic, we pride ourselves on using natural methods for maintaining the health of our land rather than releying on the likes of synthetic chemicals. All of our sheep are rotationally grazed, and fed local hay, and all of our gardens are fertilized with on-site produced compost &/or organic natural fertilizers (sea kelp, worm castings, &/or fish emulsion) We have just recently turned under an additional plot for garlic production that will be part of our CSA as well as for sale at out locally owned health food store The Real Food Market & Deli, in Helena MT. Internships are limited but welcome.
