Sound Food Ferry Farm Stand

Sound Food's "Ferry Farm Stand" is located at the Bainbridge Island ferry terminal, and serves commuters coming off the busy ferries that run between Seattle and Bainbridge Island. Thousands of ferry commuters departing the evening ferries can grab a bag of fresh local lettuce, some crisp sugar snap peas, and a box of sweet Island strawberries right at the terminal. The Ferry Farm Stand is open every Wednesday evening from June through September, offering locally-grown produce in convenient $5 bags.The Ferry Farm Stand is organized and staffed by volunteers from Sound Food, a group founded in 2007 as a project of Sustainable Bainbridge. Produce is gathered from area farms, and 100% of the proceeds go directly back to the farmers.
