Summit Farmers Market

The Summit Farmers Market has returned to its regular location at Park & Shop Lot #2 on the corner of Maple Street and DeForest Avenue. The market is open rain or shine every Sunday from May 12 until November 24 from 8 am to 1 pm. Location of market during the season. May 12 - June 23 : Park and Shop Lot #2 at the corner of Maple Street and DeForest Avenue. June 30 - September 1 - Beechwood Road and Bank Street September 8 - November 24 - Park & Shop Lot #2, Maple Street & DeForest Avenue. The Summit Farmers Market continues to be a popular Sunday morning destination where visitors can purchase fresh, local and regional goods, including a variety of organic produce, plants and flowers, and specialty items. Sunday, June 9 we will be hold our 20th Anniversary Party at the market, so come and join the fun and sample the many offerings! Give It Fresh Daily (G.I.F.T.), a produce donation opportunity, is a new initiative which has been very well received by both patrons and farmers at the market. Produce donated to G.I.F.T. at the market is distributed to organizations that provide food for those in need. During the 2012 season over 5,000 lbs of food was donated to S.H.I.P. and St. Anne's Kitchen.
