Spoutwood is growing!
The 22nd year of our CSA program is approaching fast and we need a few hands!
CSA Apprentices to work full-season with the Farm Manager to ensure the smooth running of our CSA program. Some involvement with festivals and other activities will also be included.
CSA Interns to assist with all aspects of CSA operations, without the level of responsibility expected of Apprentices, and need not sign up for the full season.
An Administrative Intern to assist in the administrative tasks and duties of the farm, while learning the ins and outs of administering a small, non-profit, family-owned farm.
Please direct inquiries, resumes, and cover letters for the farm needs to Angela at the email address above.
You should have an interest in the Spoutwood philosophy of living in harmony with nature and safeguarding environmental quality, making efficient use of non-renewable and on-farm resources, all while growing food to meet human needs in an economically viable way.
Drive, dedication, commitment, enthusiasm, and a good sense of humor are essential. You must also possess a willingness and ability to work well with others, including one's fellow interns & apprentices, permanent Spoutwood staff, CSA shareholders, and the general public.
