Farmsteads New England

Farmsteads of New England, Inc. (FNE) was created to provide a farming environment that is conducive to a meaningful and satisfying life for people who have autism and other developmental disabilities, and are seeking a holistic lifestyle that supports their vocational, recreational, and residential needs. The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program at Farmsteads of Farmsteads New England is a working partnership between the community and the farmers to share the harvest and risks of arming. With the purchase of a CSA share at FNE, members make an upfront investment in the spring, when plants are still seedlings and the costs of running a farm are high. In exchange, members receive a 20 week subscription to the freshest, locally grown produce available! each week, throughout the season, members come by the farm, meet the farmers, visit the animals in the petting farm and pick up their share of the week's bounty.
