Square Mile operates two urban farms in Amarillo, Texas. The produce grown between the two locations includes: specialty salad greens like spicy arugula and red-veined sorrel, herbs, sun-gold cherry tomatoes, carrots, Easter egg radishes, squash, and a variety of other fruiting plants.Through our farm, we have been able to teach, help, and launch other small urban farms and market gardens locally, regionally, and as far away as Uganda.

Thursdays from 5-8 at our 6th St farm. Our market is currently open once a month and provides staple foods, fresh produce, meat and dairy goods.

We provide wholesale produce to restaurants in the Amarillo area. We deliver once a week and focus on specialty salad mixes, leafy greens, rood vegetables, herbs, and seasonal produce.

In 2017 mi2, with local farmers Nuke City Veg,
transformed an asphalt-covered lot on historic 6th St.
into Amarillo's first community-based urban farm. By
providing over 10 different types of produce to local
restaurants, farmer's markets, and families, the farm
generates a revenue stream that allows it to provide
that same organic produce to families in need.
Sustainable and replicable, the farm can provide food,
jobs, and a way struggling families can bring in extra
income. With two sites, we're growing good in the city.
