The Borner Farm Project is located at the confluence of the Mississippi and St. Croix rivers, in the heart of Prescott, WI - literally! The farm is surrounded by residential housing and we enjoy waving to those walking their dogs and those running on the nearby trail. The land has been farmed for over 100 years. It is now cared for using completely organic means. We use the principles of permaculture to guide many of our decisions. Diversity is very important on The Borner Farm: we grow many varieties of many different vegetables and herbs, including staples such as potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic. We offer fresh-picked, organic, vine-ripened produce packed with nutrients, flavor, and a lot of love! Our produce varieties are selected for taste and nutritional value, not for durability in transit like supermarket produce - prepare your taste buds! This year we will be hosting community pizza nights every other Friday throughout the growing season, and our on-site produce market will once again be open every day from 9 - 7 throughout the growing season. We will be offering classes, as well as a 20-wk CSA program. By supporting The Borner Farm Project, you are supporting a community-oriented business that seeks to draw members of the region together to learn how to grow healthy food, lifestyles, and communities!
