Seven Springs Farm

Seven Springs Farm is a 111 acre organic (not certified) farm in Floyd County, Virginia. All of our vegetables are grown using organic practices. We use cover crops, compost, and mineral amendments (such as seaweed) to enrich the soil. We have many strategies for pest and disease management, including physical barriers (row covers), crop rotation, and natural, non-chemical sprays.
The farm is home to a Community Supported Agriculture Garden that provides members in Roanoke, Salem, Blacksburg, and Floyd with fresh vegetables and eggs from mid May until early December.
We have three share sizes, small (1-2 people), medium (2X a small), and large (2X a medium).
We do our best to cater to your vegetable needs, allowing you to have input in which vegetables you do and do not receive. Access to surplus and seconds is included in your share.
We also offer working shares. For a small discount on your share you can come to the farm and help out (usually 1-2 times for a few hours each time). Bring the family if you like. Children are welcome and usually have a great time.
Grass fed beef is available by the quarter, half, or whole steer, available for pick-up in December. We use rotational grazing methods, supplementing with kelp seaweed, which is full of nourishing minerals.
