The Tallahassee Downtown MarketPlace will open for our 24th season when our white canopies once again line the walkways of Ponce deLeon Park on March 2, 2019.
Open every Saturday, March through November from 9am until 2pm, the Downtown MarketPlace features fresh homegrown produce and organic items. Fresh bread and eggs are available. Look for fresh cut flowers and native plants. These are our local farmers offering Mother Nature's best. Most of our farmers welcome Florida Dept of Agriculture food nutrition vouchers.
In this tranquil setting, celebrated local musicians play their music on stage, authors and poets present readings of their latest books, and regional artists show their arts and fine crafts. Special events bring hands-on art activities for children or sneak previews of upcoming cultural events.
We are looking forward to a great season continuing all the special events you would expect and some new features to spice things up a notch.
The Tallahassee Downtown MarketPlace is a continuing event sponsored by the Tallahassee Downtown Improvement Authority with the support of the City of Tallahassee Florida.

Directions:
The Market located between two one-way streets in Downtown Tallahassee that cross Monroe Street. There are giant oak trees hanging over Monroe Street there so it is hard to miss, but just in case here are some directions.
If you are arriving from the South, come downtown on Monroe (US HWY 319) Park Avenue is the fourth street on your right after you pass the Capitol building.
If you are arriving from I 10 take exit 199 then continue South on Monroe (US HWY 27) cross Tennessee St and the second street is Park Ave. Ponce de Leon Park is on the West (right) and Bloxham Park is on the East (left) side of Monroe St.
From the East or West on Tennessee St. (US HWY 90) turn south on Calhoun Street (one way street) until you get to W Park Ave and take a right, that's Bloxham Park, Ponce de Leon Park is one block West. From the Southeast on (US HWY 27) turn North (right) at the Capitol and Park Avenue is the forth street on you right.
