The UCSC Farm & Alan Chadwick Garden are operated by staff and students of the Center for Agroecology & Sustainable Food Systems at UC Santa Cruz. The Farm & Garden serve as training sites for students in the six-month Apprenticeship in Ecological Horticulture, who raise a wide variety of vegetable, fruit, and flower crops as part of their hands-on training. Fresh organic produce is sold twice a week both through a CSA and at the Market Cart, located at the base of campus. CSA pick ups take place at the CSA shed at the UCSC Farm on Tuesdays from 12 noon - 6 pm. The Market Cart is open from 12 noon - 6 pm on Fridays. Both the CSA and Market Cart run from early June through late October/early November (weather dependent).

Wonderful CSA where you pick up at the historical and beautiful UCSC farm and garden. The farm apprentice notes and recipes are a joy to read. The CSA garden is full of beautiful flowers and herbs to pick next to the historic barn (The laughter barn). Fun people and fabulous food.
