The Vista FFA is a 501(c)3 charitable organization that teaches high school students about the food, fiber and natural resource systems through hands on experience in the classroom and on our small farm. We are located on the Vista High School campus.
Our students raise a variety of livestock, small animals, poultry, ornamental plants, vegetables and herbs on our little farm and are happy to custom raise just about anything you request!
All animals are raised naturally with plenty of individualized attention and top quality feeds and hay. Most of our vegetables are heirloom varieties, with a specialization in unusual varieties, selling both transplants and harvested crops. Ornamental plants typically include annual color transplants with a limited selection of perennials. We only use organic insecticides/herbicides on our crops, and only when absolutely necessary.
All of our products are raised by students as part of their coursework in agriculture education and 100% of the proceeds are put back into our program, so your purchase may even be partially tax deductible!
