Primrose Valley Farm is a Certified Organic CSA with a 20 week main season from mid-June to the end of October. We grow approximately 75+ varieties of produce each season. The farm has a flock of heritage pastured laying hens and rare chocolate muscovy ducks. We offer a variety of share types: Full Weekly Share, Small Weekly Share, Every-Other-Week Share and Half-Season Weekly Share as well as an additional Winter Share and a Farm Dollars program. We are committed to green practices, and as such, our produce is transported in reusable containers that are sanitized between uses. You are provided with 100% organic cotton bags made in the USA to transport your vegetables home. The farm hosts an on Farm Market and provides educational and community based programming in our 7500 square foot community center complete with a commercial kitchen. We have a minimum of four festivals/events each season where families come together on the farm to participate in activities that make a connection to their food source. The farm is committed to making healthy food available to all and grows extra food that is donated weekly to several community based food pantries in Wisconsin and Illinois. Participating in our farm not only feeds your family but helps to feed those less fortunate than you. We have employment and internship opportunities available for the 2013 season.
