Buy fresh, local produce and locally-produced products directly from farmers and producers in a real community atmosphere.
Food assistance
We offer great food assistance: Get double SNAP benefits up to $25/week (formerly Food Stamps), and double value for FMNP coupons for WIC families and eligible seniors.
Most of our produce vendors are in the HIP program, which offers free produce to SNAP families ($40 to $80/month depending on family size). See BelmontFarmersMarket.org/food-assistance for details.
Community
Our POP Club is a great program for children ages 5–12. Kids get $3 in POP Bucks to buy any produce or food-producing plants that they want. It turns them into shoppers, meal planners and savers. We have a monthly Activity Day featuring educational (and fun!) programs, and simple physical activities that demonstrate the benefits of being active.
We also have Public Safety Day to introduce our police and fire departments to the community, Local History Day featuring the Belmont Historical Society, Mini Market Makers where kids learn to run a business and become vendors, Storytime, and more.
The Community Tent features local nonprofits with useful information, and the Events Tent offers music every week.

Please stop by the Manager's tent and say hello.
Come shop for the best in local food: produce, humanely-raised meats, dairy, fish, baked goods. We have many prepared food vendors: dumplings, humus, almond butter, hot sauces, tamales, soups and stews, empanadas, & pasta and sauce. And mead & coffee. And you never know what else!
