The Patroon Land Farm is a farm owned by the Patroon Land Foundation and is dedicated to preserve the land as farmland, to the production of food for the needy and to provide opportunities for agricultural education. The farm is located on Ketcham Road in the Town of Knox, near Thacher Park in Albany County, NY. It is managed by the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York to produce food for distribution by the Food Bank to over one thousand member agencies serving 23 counties in the region. The long term goal of the farm is to become self supporting, while continuing to supply the Food Bank with substantial quantities of high quality fresh produce. We use soil amendments approved for organic production, and our pesticide use is limited to those materials used by organic growers. For questions about farm operations call (518)339-5726, or via email through this website.

This will be my second summer participating through the CSA at my workplace...they have great fresh produce, a wonderful variety!! Plus I loved being introduced to new vegetables!... [more]
If you're trying to eat local and help out your community at the same time, this CSA is for you.
I've been fortunate enough to be able to get into the CSA with Patroon Land Farm, which has given me a summer and fall worth of delicious, fresh vegetables.... [more]
