Swiftwater Farm is a veteran owned (certified "Home Grown By Heros) "market garden" entering our second year of operation. Our guiding principles are as follows: 1.All of our fresh produce will be grown following organic processes and procedures. 2.Our gardens beds will never be tilled, and our soil management practices will ensure that the soil is alive and thriving... resulting in strong, healthy and rich tasting crops. 3. No synthetic chemicals will be used! We will feed the soil... not the plants with compost, green manures, and cover crops. 4. NO GMO's! All of our seed stock will be either heirloom or certified organic. 5.Pest and disease will be controlled using only organic methods... often times no more than growing crops under insect nets. 6.Our growing methods ensure a sustainable farm environment that gives back to nature. And you can be a part of this sustainable approach ensuring the food your family eats is contributing to their well being. Bottom line... Local, Fresh, Natural!
