Voted Chicago's Best Local Farm by the Chicago Reader in 2014 and 2015, Montalbano Farms is a certified organic vegetable, herb, and seedling farm producing fresh, wholesome produce for the Chicagoland metropolitan area. Montalbano Farms grows over 60 varieties of produce and takes pride in offering the finest vegetables and herbs that you can find. CSA shares are available for pick up on our farm in Sandwich, IL. We have a farmers market style CSA. Each week, we put out a variety of fresh, organic produce and CSA members choose what they want. Our CSA members also have the opportunity to harvest their own share, or add items from our fields. If you are interested in participating in a carpool to bring CSA shares to yourself and families outside of the Sandwich area, please contact Farmer Rob via email. We also offer seedlings for sale as a fundraiser for your organization or for farmers. Our Midwest Garden Collection of seedlings has been specifically selected for their taste, quality, and ease of care. All of our seedlings have shown success in the garden and are region-supported. We grow all seedlings in our certified organic greenhouse without the use of chemicals or fertilizers. Being Chicago's Best Local Farm, we know how to grow the tastiest vegetables.
