Once again it is time for the Ballston Spa Farmers Market in Wiswall Park sponsored by the Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association. The market highlights local agricultural products such a 100% locally grown produce, perennials, annuals, hanging baskets, bedding plants, herbs, fall mums, houseplants, dish and desert gardens, fresh cut flower bouquets, locally raised meat, pastured chicken, farm fresh eggs, maple syrup, honey, jams, garlic spreads, gourmet cheese spreads, stone ground flours, sprouts, local wines, culinary lavender and specialty foods like custom blended herb and spice mixes, mustards, granolas, hummus, and imported olive oil. The market also features a large assortment of baked goods including pies, cookies, cupcakes, crackers, bread, and pastries, as well as handcrafted items like custom embroidery, jewelry, candles, soap and Fair Trade items.
