At Monarch Farm, we specialize in growing heirloom vegetables; tomatoes, summer and winter squash, beets, carrots, onions, potatoes, green beans, leeks, sweet corn, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, garlic, melons, peas, culinary and medicinal herbs and flowers. Perhaps most of all, we're known for our signature salad mixes and diversity of braising greens.
Our produce is 'non-certified' organic, which means, we meet and exceed organic certification standards but choose not to be certified.
CSA shares are still available for the 2014 season. Beginning in June and ending in October, supporters will receive 19 weeks worth of fresh vegetables. Please contact us for more information.
We also offer a line of natural skin care products; creams, scrubs, body mists, massage oils, lip balms, facial kits and salves. For those of you looking for a truly natural body care experience, look no further. We use pure organic ingredients whenever possible and simple natural ingredients always. Handcrafted with love, we create our products using natural oils and waxes, essential oils and herbs and spices.
You can find us on Saturdays, year round at the Syracuse Regional Market (C shed) and seasonally at the Skaneateles Farmers' Market, Thursday's 3:30-6:30pm May through October.
