Starbrite Farm is a diversified, certified organic, vegetable farm. We grow virtually every type of produce that is possible in our climate- from arugula to zucchini. Included in the planting list are many heirloom varieties such as the Rattlesnake pole bean, Costata Romanesco squash, heirloom melons, and many varieties of heirloom tomatoes. We also grow many unique varieties such as Japanese salad turnips, ground cherries (cape gooseberries), white sweet potatoes, sugarsnap peas, multi-colored carrots as well as oakleaf and other types of lettuce you will never find in the supermarket. We sell our vegetables at Farmer's markets- Montclair, Saturday morning; Hoboken, Tuesday afternoon and Hawthorne, Sunday morning.

We are currently looking to establish new pickup locations in Central and NE NJ for the 2010 season. To be feasible a site will need to have a minimum of 25 members. We offer a free share for every 25 shares; to be used to compensate the hosting member, core group members, or to be donated to a local food pantry or soup kitchen. We offer a 24 week season beginning in Mid -June and lasting into November. We provide a wide variety of good quality organic vegetables and herbs. References available
