We are in the business of growing a culture of appreciation. We believe people should have a relationship with their food, one that gives back to both you and the land. We are on a mission to revive our food culture by providing fresh, local produce directly to our members.
Forager Farm is a vegetable farm share or CSA (community supported agriculture). This business model ensures that we have funds to operate the farm early in the season and it also makes you a member of the farm. As a member of the farm, you enjoy the bounty of the season, an open invitation to the farm (don't be surprised if we put you to work), as well as access to any farm events.
We like to view ourselves as "opportunistic eaters"; one who eats seasonally when the harvest is abundant with opportunity. As a member you join us in taking on the risk of farming in North Dakota. While we will make every effort to mitigate the risks, we cannot control Mother Nature (as much as we would like to).
The land we farm is located just north of Streeter, North Dakota.
Forager Farm is also proud to be a 2015 producer for the Jamestown Public School district as part of the Farm to School program.
