Square Roots Farm

Square Roots Farm is a diversified vegetable farm resting on 40 acres just south of Eau Claire in Fall Creek, WI. We produce vegetables without the use of synthetic herbicides, pesticides, or insecticides. We spent our first year planting cover crops and incorporating green manures to prep the ground (previously in conventional row crop production) for vegetable production. The first year of our CSA is 2015. We are dedicated to sustainable farming practices. We produce all vegetables at Square Roots Farm without the use of synthetic insecticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. We practice crop rotation, plant green manures and cover crops, pasture animals, and apply compost to create healthy and productive soils. Through our growing practices we create an agricultural system in which everything from microorganisms to plants and animals-including humans!-interact in agreement with each other.
