Jasper Farmers Market

A North Ga. local market of ALL Homegrown & Handmade items. This year is our 15th season. The market is operating this year - Every Saturday from March 29th until Oct 25th, 7:30 am - 12:00 pm & on Wednesday's June 18th thru Aug 27th from 7:30 am - 12:00 pm. July 5th Market will be at Sacketts on Highway 515 Winter Market dates: November 8th and 22nd. from 8 am to noon December 6th and 20th. from 8 am to noon We have vendors that sell fresh vegetables & fruits in season, many different types of plants, herbs, shrubs, trees & hanging baskets, honey, farm animals, eggs, wooden crafts & arts, pottery, artwork, jewelry, yard art, soaps, etc.... Free admission & parking Directions: 515 North - to Jasper, right on Hwy 53 (East)-1 1/2 miles towards downtown Jasper, on the left in the Park & Ride Lot, near Lee Newton Park. Another community project, sponsored by the Pickens County Master Gardeners and the Pickens County Extension Office.

This is one of the best farmer's markets in my area. I certainly hope they re-open in spring of 2011.

I recently moved to Jasper and was so grateful to find this amazing farmer's market. There are so many vendors with all sorts of offerings from growing your own mushrooms to selling grass fed beef and pets milk, not to mention the wonderful flowers and vegetables.... [more]
