Buttercup Farms Garden

Buttercup Farms Garden is a one-acre intensively planted, production garden located in Clayton, California that uses only natural fertilizers and pest control. The Garden is a part of Buttercup Farms, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people help themselves. The Garden provides a supportive and inclusive work environment, in which people shed their feelings of isolation and loneliness and gain an enhanced sense of well-being and confidence. Our goals at the garden are three-fold:

To maintain a thriving market garden that will be a model for environmentally sound food production and water usage.

To offer CSA (community supported agriculture) business as one outlet for the sale of our produce.

To use our garden as a way to teach children and adults about nature, horticulture and where their food comes from.
