The Northwest Detroit Farmers' Market operates every Thursday from 4PM till 8 PM June through mid-October in the parking lot of the North Rosedale Park Community House. It regularly hosts 10-15 vendors that sell locally grown produce, locally produced baked goods, spices, Michigan honey, granola, hand-blended teas and more! A variety of seasonal produce fresh from the fields is always available along with an assortment of other enticing homemade goods, such as cookies, breads, pies, hand-blended teas and honey. We also have some flowers and bedding plants. The focus, however, is on fresh, nutritional offerings because the Market serves an area lacking traditional sources of fruits and vegetables. As a result, the Northwest Detroit Farmers' Market draws a faithful contingent of farmers and shoppers alike, transforming it into a welcoming and fun space every Thursday evening.
