Rose Mountain Farm is a 28 acre off-grid mountain farm that raise laying hens, Cheviot sheep and dairy goats. Offering workshops on off-grid living. We grow produce in high tunnels and fields. We sell our Farm products at the Lansing Park Farmers Market and deliver our CSA's on Friday afternoons 1 to 5 pm. The market is located in the Historic Lansing Creeper Trail Park. CSA shares make excellent gifts. The farm is moving towards biodynamic / no till practices, organic is not enough. Micro farms are big enough to feed families. On farm livestock rotation in silvopastures for animal health is sustainable. Working every season of every year to improve soil health and rotation of crops.
