New Omaha Garden Park

If you have been wanting to get involved in growing your own food, but don't have the garden space, we have the answer for you. Maybe you live close in a home or an apartment. Maybe you are part of a church or school or gardening club. Maybe you are looking for a great safe location to grow your heirloom seeds. Maybe you want to change your diet and eat more clean, fresh picked, home grown food. Omaha Garden Park located at 495 South 192nd st. and just South a short distance from West Dodge Road is the metro's largest plot rental acreage. The soil is chemical free and 2012 will be our 2nd season. In the spring of 2011 many local gardeners chose this location because of it being close to Omaha and the quality of the soil to grow their vegetables and flowers. A good portion of those gardening sold their produce and flowers at the local farmers markets. The current photos you see are early spring 2011 of the acreage prior to the virgin soil being plowed, disced, and powder tilled and ready to plant. Quite a harvest came out of the Omaha Garden Park and now more plot spaces have been made available. We provide a tilled plot and water access for the entire growing season from March until October. This is an early announcement for those that see this ad and want to get in now to take advantage of first pick of plots and preseason discount pricing. Pricing for plot rental is very reasonable for the amount of space you get for the season. We do have a current limit of 300 plots available now for early rental at the preseason discount price. After the first of the year the remaining plots will be rented at the normal set price. We can send you all the information you need concerning the Park prior to your rental via email.
