Heart of Rushville Farmers & Artisans Market

As we gear up 2011 Market season with great anticipation, we are still seeking yet more vendors, musicians....and of course, PATRONS! Last season, our 2nd, saw growth in all areas; more vendors, more patrons, and more sales. This despite drought conditions that impeded our produce vendors a good bit. Most importantly, we made great strides toward our stated goal of creating a weekly social gathering & drawing folks to the many unique shops & stores in Historic Downtown Rushville... This is more than just a place to go buy "stuff"! Beyond fresh local produce, you'll find here fresh baked goods, jams, jellies and sweets, along with the work of local craft artistsans & live homespun music. Our artisan vendors have a wide range of disciplines: Textile, jewelry, graphic, and woodwoorking, to name just a few. Many of our regular "tribe" members have known each other since childhood! This is also a great place to just come enjoy the music, and "people-watch"! We are always seeking new vendors & musicians, as well. Vendors pay a VERY small one-time annual fee....So please contact Joe or Mark with inqueries! This market is very handicapped accessible....Now, back to those seed catalogs!
