Madison Area Growers CSA

The Madison Area Growers CSA is a cooperative of growers in and around Jefferson County, IN, who are committed to making local produce as accessible to the community as it ought to be. Our growers operate small, diverse family farms and take delight in cultivating heirloom, rare, and always delicious varieties of fruits and vegetables. The multi-grower model allows us to provide our shareholders with a wide variety of produce each week, from the old stand-bys to new whimsical experiments.

Most of our growers are experienced in biodynamic farming and rarely, if ever, use chemicals on the soil or plants. Instead, they focus on building up the soil through compost and crop rotation.

Shareholders can expect 20 weeks of delicious produce, usually beginning around mid-May and continuing through September. Often, a season extension is offered if the season is still going strong in October. Pick-up is once a week in downtown Madison.
