At Helsing Junction Farm, we've made it our mission to grow the most nutrient rich food we can. After all, our bodies and our health are profoundly dependent on what we eat, a responsibility we take very seriously as your farmers.

We are a true CSA in that almost everything grown on the farm goes to our 550+ CSA members. This makes being a part of our CSA a unique experience, as you will be directly connected to the source of your food.

Helsing Junction Farms' Summer CSA delivers 18 weeks from mid-June until late October with two planned gap weeks*. Each delivery week our members receive a pre-packed box containing 6-14 items, depending on which size share they have. The contents of our CSA boxes vary widely as the season progresses, from strawberries and fresh peas in spring to carrots and shallots in fall. We also team up with other local producers to provide our CSA members with access to fruit, cheese, mushrooms, and sauerkraut, which are available via our webstore.

We will also feature new recipes and links from the packing list to information about the vegetables in your box. We want to make identification and use to be as simple as possible. We have long envisioned the CSA share as a kind of "kit" for healthy eating. As parents and busy people, we know that finding the time to prepare complicated meals or utilize unusual ingredients can be difficult. We want to stream line the whole process for you as much as possible.

Join us on a journey through the seasons with a share of our harvest. We have over 20 years of experience growing verdant, flavorful, nutrient-rich produce for our CSA members and we believe that eating well should be a pleasure.

Helsing Junction Farm, eat well with us.

*Gap weeks are new for us in 2023 and are a way for us to proactively tackle the seasonal overload that farm workers often experience after our busiest month of the year, June, and again after planting wraps up for the year but before the heaviest harvests begin, near the end of August.

Ark of Taste

Our farm's mission is to grow nutrient rich food for our CSA members. To that end, we work hard to maintain our soil through a system of cover cropping and low tillage. We soil test twice annually, applying both macro and micro nutrients to ensure that our plants have all they need to grow huge, strong and healthy. This results in produce that looks and tastes amazing, has a longer shelf life and is more nutrient dense.
