Unity Church Hill

Unity Church Hill Nursery is a destination dedicated to community, inspiration and education. The retail nursery carries an extensive array of pottery fountains, organic plant and vegetable care products, compost, mulch, gravel, stone, sand and garden art. Products available are all selected based on sustainability, made in the USA whenever possible, affordability, durability and of course for their beauty. There is an extensive plant selection available year round with a focus on native trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. Large specimen trees can be purchased from our above ground inventory as well as our field production. Food production started at the beginning of 2016 with a focus on bio-intensive growing methods to produce high quality, nutrient dense fruits and vegetables using 100% clean growing methods. There are no chemicals used on the 44 acre farm. With a focus on building and balancing our soils, siting crops to appropriate locations and integrating different permaculture techniques, we are producing high quality vegetables available to the public at our farm 6 days a week. We can also be found at the Chestertown Farmers Market on Saturday mornings 8:00-12:00. Visitors are welcome to stop by to see our fields in production as well as our demonstration gardens, hugel mounds, sacred geometry garden and terraces and much more.
