We maintain safe, sustainable farming practices using NO pesticides or chemical fertilizers of any kind. We make our own compost on site from veggie scraps, leaves, hay, sawdust, wood chips and composted manure. In addition, we use cover crops for green manure such as rye, hairy vetch, buckwheat, peas, and wheat grass to further enrich the soil. It's ALL about the SOIL!

Pinewood Springs Farm takes great pride in providing fresh, sustainably grown vegetables. Call to set up a time to come see the farm, whether you want to purchase produce or not, it's always nice to meet people that are interested in farming, and The Good Food Movement.
