The Farm of Peace 2020 certified organic CSA delivers weekly throughout the DC metro area, late May-June through November. Saturday drop points for 2020 include McConnellsburg and Warfordsburg, PA; Frederick, Silver Spring and Takoma Park, MD; Chevy Chase, DC; Herndon, VA and Sterling, VA.
On Sunday we deliver to Berkeley Springs, West Virginia at the Farmer's Market.
The CSA is part of a 150-acre farm and retreat center in south-central Pennsylvania, less than two hours' drive from Washington, D.C., Baltimore and Northern Virginia. We offer retreats, wellness treatments and personal growth workshops throughout the year. Rooms in our retreat center are available to rent for a farm vacation, and our nicest barn can be rented for weddings and family reunions.
A flock of heritage breed Tunis sheep graze our pastures and we offer lamb for sale in the fall.
The Farm of Peace is also home to a Sufi spiritual community with gatherings in that tradition. We are members of the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA) and the Pennsylvania Farm Vacation Association.
