FeatherWise Farm

Featherwise Farm is a small startup farm/future sustainable community in it's first season. I am seeking community members for short term or possible long term stays. We have a flock of 50 assorted heritage breed chickens, several honeybee hives, rabbits, a greenhouse, a 40 tree first year orchard, many many berry bushes, lots of garden space, a free-range kiddo, arts and yoga studio in the works, trampoline, separate food processing and canning kitchen in the works... A huge library of all books on all things sustainable and beautiful! ....and a whole lot of dreams we are building for the future. If you'd like to participate in the preliminary stages of building something amazing from nearly the ground up... If you are family friendly (young'uns of your own are welcome.. Bring 'em if you got'em :)) if you are seeking something slightly off the beaten path.... If you are wanting for community and friendship based on building a better future for our small part of this world. I can offer very basic accommodations at present. Delicious and healthy foods are always available, and a place to pitch a tent or park a camper for shorter term stays. Longer term stays could be worked out for a more comfortable homespace for you and yours. I may be able to offer a small stipend for living expenses in an appropriate situation.
