We began our garden in the spring of 2015 with a mission to become certified organic and to farm the land in a sustainable and balanced way. Being certified organic was a very important accomplishment for us in our first year. It means that we practice farming in a way that benefits the soil, insects, waterways, and our bodies. We use row covers, crop rotation, companion planting, irrigation, and mulch to protect our plants from unpredictable nature.
