Freedom Market is a self-regulating gathering place for farmers, artisans, and citizens interested in socializing and supporting local. Held in the Earthfare parking lot on Sundays from 11.00 - 4.00 beginning April 3, 2011.
In addition to offering fresh good eats, healthy plants, flowers, honey, and an array of artisan goods, the Freedom Market will be collecting funds for local charities. Visitors are encouraged to cast a vote for their favorite, as well as make a donation. A new local charity will be selected by way of ballot every two months.
The Freedom Market has no leader, no board of directors, and no bias. We have a simple set of guidelines for all to follow. The vendors promote and police the market as a whole. If you are a farmer, homesteader, artisan, or musician looking for a close knit community outlet to sell your wares or express yourself, please join us.
