In our permaculture-focused food plot we grow the usual vegetable garden fare, plus kitchen herbs, some unusual melons and winter squash, a variety of hardneck garlic, berries, and fruit trees. The expanding flower garden contains herbs and flowers useful for medicinal, culinary and dye purposes. Our residents include a flock of colorful heritage laying hens, a small herd of dairy, fiber and meat goats, a small apiary of bees, 3 ridiculous canines, and 2 spoiled cats. We also produce a line of handmade skincare products for sale at the farm or online. Blue Zen Naturals skincare line features herbs, bees wax, and flowers grown on the farm. We also use our goat's milk and honey in our soap. Contact us for a farm tour.
