Hoffstede Farm is a family-operated pick-your-own produce haven. We are passionate about being self-sustaining, and make our own compost, utilize integrated pest management (meaning no chemicals of any kind!) and use only organic, heirloom, or self-collected seeds. In addition to welcoming families to come and pick their own produce, we offer free training on developing earth-kind gardens, and seedling plants started in our own greenhouse when available. We are working on developing an area for fruit orchards, and will have a pumpkin patch in the fall. There are beautiful trails through wooded areas and a seasonal creek to explore.
Come by on the weekends and bring the family! We have several breeds of chickens, pygmy goats who love attention, mini donkeys, and lots of attention-loving dogs. Pack a picnic and enjoy the shade and the sound of birds singing all around. And enjoy selecting your own food straight from the ground. Don't expect anything grand or fancy, just home-grown goodness.
