We have also established an online ordering system for our produce and garden starts. froghollergardenclub.square.site for seedlings (April-June) and froghollerfarm.square.site for produce (May-October). We also continue to offer our seedlings and produce at our market stall, Saturdays only.
We start our season with a large selection of vegetable and herb seedlings, many heirlooms, and selected for flavor and Northern growing conditions. We love to help folks get their gardens off to a good start and are happy to offer advice and suggestions.
We begin harvesting produce in May, starting with spring greens, and continue to offer a wide selection of seasonal vegetables, some fruits, and our specialty salad mix right through October, and sometimes up until Thanksgiving.
We are a family farm, owned and managed by Cathy King and three sons, Billy, Kenny and Edwin. We have had lots of help over the years from friends and young people interested in learning more about right livelihood and thoughtful growing practices.
In 2007, we launched Holler Fest, a two-day celebration of local food, music and community. Holler Fest 2008 was expanded to three days and has become the highlight of the summer for many area residents. With over 75 musical acts, guided nature walks on our beautiful land, educational workshops, rustic camping in our open fields and wooded area, kids activities galore, local food vendors along with sumptuous fare from the Holler Kitchen, and unique craft vendors - there's something for everyone!
Due to Covid, we did not hold Holler Fest in 2020 and 2021. The festival returned in 2022 and it was filled with folks happy to gather again in support of local artists, local food, and local community!
Go to www.hollerfest.com for info and highlights. Holler Fest 2023: Aug. 25-27.
