Golden Oldies Farm is a small CSA located in Macon, IL, just south of Decatur. We bring you delicious, sustainably-grown produce without the use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. August 23, 2012, we unexpectedly lost our sweet Dexter, farm mascot and enemy of none. He will be sorely missed! Oliver, an ancient Golden Retriever, will be happy to greet you when you visit the farm. We are also home to about 45 heritage breed laying hens. Eggs are available for $3.00/dozen. Contact us for availability, they go fast! Save egg cartons for us! We also raise heritage breed pastured poultry meat, available on-farm only. Contact us for information/availability. In addition to our outstanding selection of all-heirloom vegetables (mostly from organic seed), we will be offering cut flowers and a huge variety of herbs for CSA members' disposal. If you appreciate fresh, naturally-grown produce and want to keep your money in your neighbourhood, support your local farm! -- We have made some critical changes to our CSA for the 2012 season. We will ONLY be accepting full shares, to facilitate easier division of produce and to lessen our footprint when it comes to packaging. To make this easier on everyone, we are encouraging folks that are interested to link up on our Facebook page. This way, you can decide exactly what you want from each week's share. ** THE 2012 SEASON IS FULL! ** For more information, go to our Facebook page or give us a call. If you have any questions, feel free to call us! We'd love to meet you! For recipes and more information, check out our blog at www.goldenoldiesfarm.blogspot.com!
