High Sierra Beef, Inc.

Oregon House Farms has been raising grass fed Angus cattle for 23 years. We were grass fed before grass fed was cool. To enhance the sustainability of the farm, the owner, Jenny Cavaliere also raises fresh garden vegetables, heritage sweet corn and the most beautiful French Rouge Vif d'Etampes Cinderalla Coach pumpkins. This year, a dream came to fruition, and Jenny converted a 100 year old barn into the Oregon House Farms Store. As owner of High Sierra Beef, Inc., an all grass fed to finish beef, the farm store provides a location for folks to buy retail cuts of freshly harvested beef as well as lamb, pork, poultry, pastured eggs and all the fresh produce and fruits in season. Jenny has been able to certify the 63 acres CCOF(California Certified Organic Farn) .The farm has always been cherished for its wholesome and fertile soil, and with the reverence for the land, there has never been any chemicals applied or used. Jenny believes that it is our responsibility as caretakers of the land to leave a light footprint and leave the land in a better condition when we are gone.
