Green Earth Harvest

The Conservation Foundation's Green Earth Harvest certified organic farm program is devoted to healthy soil, healthy vegetables, healthy people, and healthy communities. Our program creates a place where farmers and eaters who value responsibly grown, delicious food come together to do their part to support local farming, care for our earth, and delight in exploring the seasonal harvest.

Since 2002, we have farmed on the 60-acres of protected land at McDonald Farm, located in south Naperville, growing local, organic produce for our community.

As a farmshare subscriber at Green Earth Harvest, no matter if you pick up your vegetables at our farm, one of our 5 pickup sites or use our home delivery service, you have the ability to select the veggies you prefer from the harvest each week. Our "choice" farmshare model, along with the option of weekly or every-other week pickups and two sizes, helps to reduce food waste and ensures you'll be delighted with our delicious, high-quality and nutritious produce.

You'll also have the opportunity to be a part of a community of people who appreciate and support our local farm. Whether it's getting out into the fields for the UPick days (peas, tomatoes, beans, herbs and ground cherries), pizza nights, or enjoying our local farm partners who bring their meat, eggs, milk, fruits, sourdough breads, organic grains and flowers to our farmshare pickups on the farm!

Our Spring Season is four weeks from mid-May to mid-June, our Main Season harvest runs for 20 weeks from mid-June to the end of October and the Late Fall Season is four weeks, ending the week of Thanksgiving.

We offer four-month payment plan options and our 2025 Season share sales are available on Dec. 1st. We hope to see you on the farm!
