Squash Blossom Farm is a diverse 10-acre family enterprise on a picturesque 1910 farmstead. We grow vegetables for sale in a large garden and season-extending high tunnel greenhouse. Yes, we do sell squash blossoms!
We raise heritage breed chickens for meat and eggs, a few pampered cows provide meat and milk, and the farm is graced with a small flock of friendly turkeys. Several beehives provide delicious prairie flower honey and beeswax for our own soothing lip balm.
The farm is open to the community on weekend afternoons, May through September (and for special events or by appointment.) The granary has been transformed into a farm store where whimsical recycled garden decor, Profound Objects and antiques, and work made by local artists can be purchased, as well as plants and products from the farm.
On most Sunday afternoons during the summer you can enjoy live music performed by local folk bands and informal farm tours.
