Here at Happy Wife Farm we strive for all our animals to live happy and productive lives. We enjoy raising fiber animals, and have a small flock of Shetland sheep, Finn sheep, and Angora goats (mohair). We do our own shearing each year, and process much of our own fiber. We offer a range of fiber products including raw fleece, roving, and handspun yarns. We also offer finished items handwoven here at the farm. We are an authorized Schacht Spindle Company dealer and offer weaving looms and spinning wheels along with workshops on using them.

Our chickens are free range and provide amazing eggs that we enjoy eating, and sell any excess we have available. We have a small flock of guineas that help with bug control around the farm.

We have a large mature pecan orchard and offer direct sales of (in the shell) pecans. When the season and weather permits, we also offer you-pick events.

Our 2000+ square foot wind tunnel provides for year-round growing, and also have garden patches around the farm offering seasonal vegetables. Our small fruit orchard produces an abundance of pears which we can into pear jam, preserves, butter and relish.

Our numerous beehives around the farm provide some of the most delicious honey as our honeybees forage on our fruit and vegetable blooms along with the many native flowering plants we have here. We are adding pollinator gardens for our bees and other pollinators and will offer plants for sale if you'd like to add some to your own yard!

All of our animals are raised in a loving environment and treated with the best care. We practice organic methods on our farm, no pesticides are used. If you are interested in a tour, attending, or hosting a workshop at our farm, please send us an email with details.
