Here at Happy Wife Farm we strive for all our animals to live happy and productive lives. We raise both dairy and fiber goats. Our mixed herd of registered Nubians and Angoras provide lovely mohair and delicious milk. We do not sell raw milk, but we do offer a range of fiber products and we sell some of our goats each year after breeding.

We no longer raise chickens, but we do have a flock of guineas to help with bug control around the farm, and occasionally sell Guinea keets when we have a large hatch. We have recently added Peacocks to our farm and look forward to offering both babies and craft items from feathers.

We have a large mature pecan orchard and are looking to provide a u-pick option to our farm in 2019, as well as direct sales of (in the shell) pecans.

We recently added a 2000+ square foot wind tunnel for year-round growing, and also have garden patches around the farm offering seasonal vegetables. Our small fruit orchard produces an abundance of pears which we can into pear jam, preserves, butter and relish.

Our numerous beehives around the farm provide some of the most delicious honey as our honeybees forage on our fruit and vegetable blooms along with the many native flowering plants we have here. We are adding pollinator gardens for our bees and other pollinators and will offer plants for sale if you'd like to add some to your own yard!

All of our animals are raised in a loving environment and treated with the best care. We practice organic methods on our farm, no pesticides are used. We would love to offer workshops and tours. If you are interested in a tour or hosting a workshop at our farm, please send us an email with details.

I buy eggs from Happy Wife Farm. I can tell that the eggs are very fresh (the yolks are always very plump and perfectly round when I crack them open). The cartons are adorable and I can tell that a lot of love and care goes into the egg production business of the farm.... [more]
