Dear Members, Supporters, and Friends, After 6 years of growing food for our community, we have decided to discontinue our farm. This decision did not come easily, and it is with heavy hearts that we write you this letter. While this chapter of our lives has come to an end, we are looking forward to what is next. We have enjoyed building relationships with you all through our love of farming and of good food. We continue to believe in the importance of locally-grown food and in the value of knowing those who grow it for you. At this point in our lives, however, we feel it is best for our family to take a step back and find some relief from the many challenges we face while farming. We are most looking forward to spending more time with our girls, especially in the summer months, as we watch them grow so quickly. We will miss the relationships we have developed with you all, and sincerely thank you for the support you have given us. Your support and gratitude both made this endeavor possible and encouraged us to continue. If you have already sent in payment for the 2017 season, we will be mailing you a refund, which you should receive in the next few weeks. Please contact us if you would like help finding another local farm program in which to participate. We offer you our most heart-felt thanks and wish you all the best in the years to come. Sincerely, Ashley & Josh
