Ashbourne Farms is a working, regenerative farm guided by thoughtful land stewardship, soil health, and animal care. We manage our pastures, gardens, and woodlands with intention—building organic matter, supporting wildlife, and producing food in a way that honors the land for generations to come.
Our seasonal vegetables are grown using sustainable practices and without synthetic pesticides, with season-extension tools allowing for greater variety across the year. We also raise grass-fed, grass-finished Shorthorn beef and produce pastured eggs, all without antibiotics, growth hormones, or steroids.
All Ashbourne farm products are sold through our Haymarket stores in Louisville, with two locations: Haymarket River Road and Haymarket NuLu. Haymarket serves as the public-facing extension of the farm — a neighborhood market and café offering farm-grown ingredients, ready-to-enjoy foods, and full-service Louisville catering prepared in our commissary kitchen. From wholesome, organic selections made without seed oils or preservatives to thoughtfully prepared offerings for gatherings, Haymarket makes it easy to bring the farm into everyday life. As a proud partner to other local farms and artisans, Haymarket curate Kentucky-made goods and seasonal specialties, guiding guests toward real food with a personal touch.
Beyond food production, Ashbourne Farms offers Farm Enrichment Tours, Farmer for a Day programming, summer camps for young people, and educational workshops built around our core farm products, connecting guests more deeply to where their food comes from.
